A 1941 cover to England with letter.

The letter is an interesting, though difficult read on account of the handwriting and the overlapping text on onion paper. It's a 1.65 pesos rate, and the letter, like the unopened one in the previous post to the same addressee, was re-directed. The slogan reminds us of difficult wartime living in England.

This bit is interesting: "bastard, he told me was the Japanese ambassador"
