The 2 pesos late (1951+) issues

I see four distinct printings, two with SERVICIO OFICIAL issues, for a total of six distinct stamps.

1. 1951-52 1L1 Dark brownish red to a light cream. The darkest shades are the earliest. I find these in postal use as late as 1955. This printing was interrupted by the 1952 Evita issue. It is possible that some of this batch was printed, stored, and then put in use in 1955.

Here is the lighter shade.

2. Same inks, 1955, on the second clay paper, the CL2 paper.

This state of the plate was acid-cleaned. Notice the white areas for ARGENTINA as broader. Here is a lighter shade.

3. Rust brown 1L5z, the Zarate national paper, 1956. The paper is thin and the watermark is almost impossible to discern. This paper is of lower quality and prone to toning. The wobble that would develop for the blue plate is slight for this printing.

Here is an early stage of the wobble of the blue plate, which resulted in so many kiss prints.

This printing is also a SERVICIO OFICIAL issue.

4. Bright colors, white paper with small RA perpendicualr to the 1L1 direction from 1957. This last printing saw heavy postal use. The plate has states of wear, and also some wobbling for the blue plate which sometimes almost looks like a double print. This printing is a universe of variability.

This printing is also a SERVICIO OFICIAL issue.
