Several 1938 Covers to France

Two flew Via Condor, and another one Via Air France.

Several 1938 Covers to Germany

Here is a nice selection: Via Condor airmail uses, a ship cover, and even a Hardebeck correspondence cover.

Here is a relatively late use from the Hardebeck correspondence. Most of the Hardebeck covers I have are from 1936.

This may be a plate variety.

Two 1938 Covers to the United States

I especially like the Pan American envelopes, such as this example.

From the days when the Condor airline flew to the United States. World War II changed that!

A 1938 Cover to Austria during the German Annexation

Vienna, Germany. That gives it away. March 12, 1938 is the day when German troops entered Austia. This envelope was received four months lates, July 28.

Several 1938 Covers to Germany

Some of these stamps should have been printed on the 1E2 paper of 1937.

This looks like a non-philatelic use of a 50 centavos commemorative.

The placement of stamps on this cover is interesting.
